Mechanical O&M Manuals | Margaret River Senior High School Expansion

Margaret River Senior High School, Western Australia, has received a $30 million Government investment to provide new classrooms and high-quality specialist facilities to replace some existing temporary / portable classrooms.  The school’s capacity will increase from 950 to 1,450 students serving Years 7 to 12 in permanent facilities by 2020.

The project is being carried out in stages, with separable portions as follows:

SP 1: General Learning – Construction of a double-storey building with sixteen classrooms, inclusive education classroom, staff study, toilets and storage

SP 2: Health, PE, Science and IT – a new science building with five laboratories, preparation areas; sports hall, fitness centre and change rooms.

SP 3: Admin and Student Services – new administration and student services areas facilities

SP 4: Farm Sheds – new farm sheds located on site.

The mechanical services  design and installation generally includes air cooled variable refrigerant flow / split type air conditioning and outside air systems serving the classrooms and officer areas, general exhaust systems serving the amenities, kitchenettes and photocopy facilities and specialist exhaust to the Fume Cupboards / IT Laboratories.

Dewick & Associates are working along side MPM Group to provide the Mechanical Services O&M Manuals for the project.  Our team of technical writers are fully conversant with the stage nature of the project delivery and are providing O&M manuals for each separable portion as the works near completion.
