BaptistCare is a registered community housing organisation that has been providing affordable housing within NSW and ACT since 1953. In partnership with the NSW Social and Affordable Housing Fund (SAHF), BaptistCare recently enhanced affordable housing across the state via a $1 billion expansion project. The existing BaptistCare site at Five Dock received $23m to build a new, four-storey building, housing seventy-nine aged care units for the local community.

The new building was provided with a stormwater drainage system, a siphonic rainwater harvesting system and sewer drainage system (incorporating pump stations), with all systems connecting to existing on-site services.  New DDA compliant hot and cold-water systems, in addition to sanitary fixtures and fittings, were also provided throughout to accommodate the aged care residential requirements.
