Maintenance Matrix: Renovation Centre Providence, Moncton NB – CA

The existing building, 34 Providence Street, Moncton, has been repurposed to provide three separate office tenancies over Level 1 and 2 of the building.  The existing support services building accommodating the mechanical and electrical services has been refurbished to accommodate new plant and equipment.

The project has been delivered into two parts, Base Building and Fit-up.

Dewick & Associates provided an in-depth maintenance matrix for all the architectural services included in the base building and fit-up.

The Base Building works included modifications to the building fabric including new glazing, painting, floorings, ceiling and linings, doors and frames, spray insulation, electrical services, CCTV and access control system, plumbing and mechanical.

The Fit-up works included works to the ceiling and linings, doors and frames, electrical services, floorings, plumbing, architectural wood works, painting and sliding glass partitions.

Each item in the maintenance log sheet references the warranty period, warranty reference, frequency of preventive maintenance and the period requirements to maintain warranty as per the specification.  We also provided a check box for each month for the end user to be able to log.

Once this was completed, we included this in the building handover manual for a complete package to the main contractor.
