Mechanical and Medical Gas O&M Manuals | University of Adelaide

The University of Adelaide, located in South Australia, was established in 1874. The University has five campuses spread throughout the state; North Terrace (main campus), Roseworthy College at Roseworthy, The Waite Institute at Urrbrae, Thebarton, and the National Wine Centre in the Adelaide parklands.

The ageing building stock needs regular upgrades due to failing plant and equipment, or changes in teaching strategies, requiring alterations to the layouts of the buildings. Dewick & Associates worked with a number of Mechanical and Medical Gases Contractors across Australia to provide O&M Manuals for building works / plant upgrades, such as the replacement of the Cooling Towers serving the Engineering building, recently completed for Diverse Mechanical Services, the Wine Innovation East Air Conditioning Replacement at the Waite Campus with Westside Services, Chemical Engineering Medical Gas Upgrade with MedMech and the Core Microscopy Facility with DCM Services.

The University of Adelaide has a specific format / template for their O&M Manuals which includes document registers, an asset register, drawing registers, a detailed scope of works and system descriptions, and equipment technical data. This is all completed in house by our experienced Technical Writers and Engineers.
