Dubbo Base Hospital is located in regional NSW, providing health care facilities for Dubbo and surrounding areas. The hospital has benefited from major funding in recent years resulting in a four-stage construction program to improve the hospital’s facilities.

Stage 4 of the works comprise a new 11,100m² building housing 26 in-patient beds, an emergency department, a medical imaging suite, a renal dialysis department and ambulatory care services, in addition to a coronary care unit, intensive care unit and a cardiovascular suite. To complement these clinical services, the hospital has also been provided with 119 car parking spaces, a new ambulance access point, a drop off / pick up zone and landscaping.

Dewick & Associates worked with Mechanical Contractor Sedatech to provide the project’s Mechanical Services O&M Manual, utilising the online platform Web FM in-line with NSW government requirements. Dewick & Associates are fully conversant in the Web FM interface / upload system, only requiring the project specification, drawings and technical data from a contractor to compile an online manual.

After initial submission Dewick & Associates received commentary back from the consultant that was, in turn, actioned by our team, requiring minimal input from Sedatech to make outsourcing a viable option.
