Carrapateena is a copper-gold mine located approximately 160km north of Port Augusta, SA. The mine will be a 4.25 MTPA underground operation, with an estimated mine life of 20 years. The site infrastructure will include an accommodation village, airstrip and a processing plant.

Dewick & Associates have provided the Mechanical Design for the Electrical High Voltage and Low Voltage Switchrooms located on the site. Given the extreme weather conditions and remote location, Dewick & Associates have provided heat load calculations, equipment performance schedules and full technical data review for the selected equipment.
