Mechanical Services O&M Manual | BHP Billiton Finucane Services Port Headland Laboratory

BHP is an international resources company that extracts and processes minerals, oil and gas primarily from Australia and The Americas. BHP’s site in Western Australia processes iron ore throughout five mines connected by more than 1,000 kilometres of rail infrastructure.

BHP Billiton has built a new facility at Port Headland for the handling and export of iron ore, connected via the rail infrastructure.  As part of this development a new laboratory has been provided for testing and research.

Dewick & Associates provided a Mechanical Services O&M Manual for the project, adhering to the strict BHP guidelines and requirements for content, document control and format.  The O&M manuals undergo a detailed review process to ensure that all elements of the facilities management maintenance schedule and operational requirements were included.

Although this was a challenging project to work on with the intricate attention to details, the team at Dewick & Associates have achieved all the requirements to provide a complete set of hand over documentation.
