Victoria University Secondary College is a co-educational state Year 7–12 college with three campuses across Melbourne. The Cairnlea Campus received $23.9million of State Government funding for the construction of new facilities including:

• Building A STEAM – technology, Science and Maths rooms, multimedia studio, recording booth and collaborative spaces
• Building B Learning village comprising general purpose classrooms, central library/study space and collaborative spaces
• Building C PAH, incorporating a theatre, covered outdoor stage, drama and music rooms, recording studio, Food Technology kitchens and Canteen/Cafe area
• Site landscaping including sporting fields and hard courts

Dewick & Associates provided Engineering support to the Mechanical Services Contractor including the provision of airside static calculations for all fans to ensure that the proposed fan selections met the actual ductwork resistance of the systems installed.  This is an important part of the design process, to avoid commissioning / operational problems. Our Chartered Engineers provide VBA sign off and certification for all engineering works completed.

Dewick & Associates will also provide O&M manuals for the projects as part of the building handover process.
