Mechanical Services O&M Manual and Commissioning Plan | Cobblebank Indoor Sports Stadium

The City of Melton funded the construction of a new, $31 millon multi-purpose indoor sports stadium to provide the local community with improved access to a greater range of sports.

Located on a greenfield site, in the heart of Melton and close to public transport systems, the new Stadium Building provides facilities for basketball, netball, fuseball, badminton, volleyball and wider community use.   The building includes six indoor high-ball courts, change rooms, administration offices, amenities and onsite car parking.

Dewick & Associates have worked alongside Travena Sustainable Heating + Cooling to provide the Mechanical Services O&M Manuals and Commissioning Plan for the project.  The development is beening benchmarked against the Green Star Design As-Built v1.2 tool to gain a 5 Star rating.  The Commissioning Plan has been provided in accordance with Green Star requirements to ensure the associated Green Star Commissioning and Tuning Credit is achieved.

Both the Mechanical O&M Manuals and Commissioning Plan provide details of the air conditioning and ventilation installation including a reverse cycle packaged air conditioning system, ducted and wall mounted split systems, evaporative air conditioning systems with associated exhaust fans, kitchen ventilation systems and general / amenities exhaust systems.
