Building Handover Manuals | RAAF Base Amberley, Amberley – QLD

RAAF Base Amberley is Defence’s largest operational air base. Established in 1940, the base is located in Queensland, 40km south-west of Brisbane. RAAF Base Amberley is critical in enabling pilots and crews to maintain currency and expertise in operating aircraft around an airfield and provides excellent training for air traffic controllers. RAAF Base Amberley has a facility called Engine Test Cell 1 (ETC1) which is used to test aircraft jet engines. ETC1 has an associated Defence Fuel Installation (ETC1-DFI), which supplies fuel for engine testing.

Dewick & Associates have provided Architectural, HVAC, Electrical, ICT, Hydraulic and Fire Manuals for the project in the Defence Format on behalf of the Main Contractor. Dewick & Associates have also provided As-Installed drawings including Metadata in line with the defence requirements.
