Lidl Stiftung & Co. KG, aka Lidl,  is a German international discount supermarket chain operating over 10,000 stores across Europe and the USA.  In July 2020, Lidl announced that it would open one store per week in the next six months in England, Scotland and Wales; one of these stores was Lidl Gloucester. As per its generic footprint, the Gloucester store consisted of a mezzanine plant area, large sales floor, a bakery, customer amenities and a warehouse, in addition to a manager’s office and staff facilities comprising a staff room, locker rooms, cloak rooms and amenities.

Dewick & Associates worked with electrical and mechanical services contractor, HAS Electrical, to document the services they provided into an Electrical and a Mechanical Services O&M Manual. Each manual included key contact details, a description of the systems installed, a schedule of equipment and operating instructions, in addition to maintenance procedures and log sheets so Lidl could care for the plant installed post handover to ensure the longevity of their investment.
