Building 1, Axle, is the first building within the new inner-city Sydney precinct and will provide approximately 18,000 employees state of the art work and lifestyle facilities. The precinct will encompass three high rise office buildings alongside a village hub, providing alfresco cafes and dining facilities, a gym, designated space for pop-up events and a supermarket.
The building comprises 42,500m² of commercial office space with CBA, the anchor tenant, relocating their headquarters to the site. Building 1 is targeting a minimum Green Star Design and As Built v1.1 rating of 6 stars and a 5 star NABERS energy rating, incorporating low water usage fixtures and fittings, rainwater harvesting and low water irrigation.
Dewick & Associates have provided the Hydraulic Services O&M manuals for the project using the on-line platform Zutec, including technical writing, manufacturers’ literature sourcing, and collation.
