Mechanical Services O&M Manual | Rio Tinto, Koodaideri Main Village and Kitchen Store, WA
In 2018, Rio Tinto’s board approved $2.6m in funding for development of Gudai-Darri (Koodairderi, north west WA), due for completion in 2021. The autonomous mine incorporates a processing plant, airport, camp, road access and infrastructure, including a 166km rail line connecting the mine to the existing network.
MPM Group provided air conditioning and ventilation systems for the kitchen, dining, and storage area of Koodairderi’s main village, incorporating a packaged ducted air conditioning system, variable refrigerant flow (VRF) air conditioning systems, outside air fans, kitchen exhaust fans, general exhaust fans and air curtains. Dewick & Associates worked with MPM Group to document all of the systems installed, preparing a detailed Mechanical Services O&M Manual that included equipment schedules, place holders for authority certificates and commissioning results, and maintenance log sheets for the care of assets post handover.
