Electrical Services Commissioning Plan and O&M Manual plus As Built Drawings | Alice Springs Youth Justice Centre – Stage 1, Hugh – Northern Territory

The Alice Springs Youth Justice Centre, operated by Territory Families, houses young people sentenced to detention by the Courts. The Northern Territory Government is redeveloping the Centre to better meet the needs of young people, providing practical rehabilitation that enables individuals to better reintegrate into the community on release.

Commencing in July 2020 with an anticipated PC in May 2021, the redevelopment has included new program delivery spaces, new admission and induction areas, new visitor facilities, new office and staff amenities, a new medical and health area, a new sporting field and CCTV monitoring of the perimeter, in addition to the refurbishment of accommodation areas to include updated kitchens, dining and staff supervision areas.

Dewick & Associates completed the Electrical Services Commissioning Plan for the project, comprised of commissioning procedures and test sheets utilised for configuring and finalising the installation. As the project nears completion, Dewick & Associates will provide an Electrical Services Operating & Maintenance Manual and As Built Drawings, summarising the scope of works and containing equipment schedules, manufacturer literature and maintenance log sheets for ongoing care and maintenance of new and refurbished installations.
