Mechanical Engineering and O&M Manuals | Tweed Valley Health Hub, Kingscliff – NSW

As part of a wider Tweed Valley Hospital development project, the two new Health Hub Buildings will accommodate the Bugalwena Aboriginal Health Service, to serve the local community, and a dedicated Learning, Development and Research facility. Funded by the NSW State Government, the $43million project will provide staff accommodation, meeting spaces, consulting clinical spaces to house Oral Health and the HIV and Related Programs service (HARP), an 84-seat lecture theater, simulation and skills rooms, immersive learning and research spaces, a library and computer lab training.

Dewick & Associates have supported the Mechanical Contractor to provide air side static calculations for all Air Handling units (AHU’s), Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERV) and fans to be installed in Building A and B.  Calculating the air side pressure drop of a system ductwork and diffusion is important to ensure that all fans and equipment are correctly sized and can therefore be commissioned appropriately and operate efficiently.

Dewick & Associates will also provide the O&M Manuals for the project as practical completion nears.
