Choice Care is a leading specialist care provider for people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions and associated complex needs. The provider’s mental health rehabilitation facility at Fishbourne in Chichester, Spencer Place, offers care for up to 10 adults, with all residents staying in single bedrooms, complemented by communal areas in which they can relax and socialise in a supported environment.

Dewick & Associates worked with mechanical contractor Apex Mechanical Services to deliver the Mechanical Services O&M Manual and Building Log Book for the LTHW heating systems, radiators and exhaust systems installed within the Centre. The O&M Manual documented key project contacts, the scope of works and maintenance procedures with accompanying log sheets, in addition to incorporating place holders for the insertion of testing and commissioning records and authority certificates. The Log Book links to the O&M Manual and other key project documentation such as As Fitted drawings, the Health & Safety File and emergency procedures, to provide a central source of information for stakeholders responsible for managing and operating services within the building.
