Mechanical Services O&M Manual | Mount Lawley Senior High School, Mount Lawley – WA

Mount Lawley Senior High School is a public co-educational high school located in Mount Lawley, a northern suburb of Perth, Western Australia. Founded in 1955, the school caters for approximately 1,350 students across both middle school (years 7 and 8) and senior school (Years 9 through 12).

Building on the school’s specific focus of languages and specialist visual and performing arts, a new two-storey STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) building is being built in line with the WA State Government’s election commitment to provide improved opportunities for students in these areas. The new $4m building, due for completion in early 2021, will comprise a state-of-the-art engineering workshop, two science laboratories and two general-purpose classrooms.

Dewick & Associates have provided the Mechanical Services O&M Manual for the project, incorporating descriptions of all equipment installed including fume cupboards and associated extraction systems, in addition to exhaust systems for specialist equipment, such as a laser cutter and mechatronics soldering equipment. The O&M Manual also includes details on the operation, maintenance and fault finding for the equipment / systems installed to enable management of assets post-handover.
