Porsche, the German car manufacture specialising in high-performance vehicles, is opening a new state-of-the-art training facility within the Essendon Fields Development, Melbourne.
The new facility will provide opportunities for both service technicians and sales representatives from across Australia to improve their knowledge of the Porsche product with a specific focus on the new Porsche Taycan, Porsche’s first Electric sports car, entering the Australian market toward the end of 2020.
The state-of-the-art facilities includes Entry and Brand Lounge, two classrooms and two practice rooms.
The architectural layout of the building enables one classroom and practice room to be opened up into one space to enable hands-on learning within a classroom setting. The building is also provided with Amenities and an Office.
Dewick & Associates provided the Hydraulic O&M Manual for the project which detail the systems and equipment installed including stormwater, rainwater reuse system, below ground sewer drainage systems, domestic hot and cold-water systems and sanitary fixtures and fittings. The O&M manual also incorporates details on the Fire Safety Systems installed such as fire hydrant and hose reel systems and extent of fire extinguishers within the building.
